Summer Institute at Boston Arts Academy

Dec 13, 2012 - 06:00 PM by Linda Nathan, CES

Registration is now open for the 2013 Summer Institute

“Imagine, Innovate, Advocate”, hosted by the Center for Arts in Education at Boston Arts Academy! Summer Institute will be held from June 26-28, 2013 in Boston, with an optional pre-Institute intensive on June 24 and 25. Register before February 28 for the lowest rate!

In addition to speakers, presentations and workshops focused on the role of the arts and interdisciplinarylearning in creating school change and a new advocacy component, we are excited to offer immersive experiences in BAA’s innovate curricula: either STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math), PEP (Peers Educating Peers), or Literacy/Inclusion.

Professional development credits are offered for all participants and graduate credits are available for a small fee.

Additionally, we understand that hotel costs might be a barrier for those attending from out of town. We are pleased that Massachusetts College of Art and Design has offered accommodations at a highly reduced rate for Summer Institute Participants, and hope that this will allow more people to attend!

Please share with your networks and feel free to contact me with any questions.

We hope to see you in June!
