Job Description: Duties:
K-6 teaching positions. Candidates should have experience using a variety of strategies, have passion for working with urban students, and have a strong desire to be part of a team building better public schools.
Positions available at selected schools through RISE, a non-profit organization that helps experienced teachers committed to teaching in low-income communities find and stay in jobs in K-12 public schools serving those communities.
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications::
Belief that all students can achieve at high levels.
At least 1 year as a full time classroom teacher in a K-12 U.S. school serving a low-income population. (This does not include student or substitute teaching.).
Valid credential or current enrollment in a credentialing program.
Eligibility to work in the U.S. (without visa sponsorship).
Salary & Benefits: Based on experience.
