Job Description:
Duties:
Math, Science, English/Language Arts, Social Studies, Special Education and Spanish positions available. Candidates should have experience using a variety of strategies, have passion for working with urban students, and have a strong desire to be part of a team building better public schools.

Positions available at selected schools through RISE, a non-profit organization that helps experienced teachers committed to teaching in low-income communities find and stay in jobs in K-12 public schools serving those communities.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications::
  • Belief that all students can achieve at high levels.
  • At least 1 year as a full time classroom teacher in a K-12 U.S. school serving a low-income population. (This does not include student or substitute teaching.).
  • Valid credential or current enrollment in a credentialing program.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. (without visa sponsorship).


  • Salary & Benefits:
    Based on experience.
