Using Personal Learning Plans to Inspire High School Learning

In this session, we will discuss the promise and challenge of developing personalized education as a way to put student learning at the center of the high school experience. Participants will see how personalized education is used to include all of the essential learnings required of high school graduates and, more importantly, in accomplishing the goal of increasing student learning. Through the development and use of a personalization rubric, participants will examine the potential of personalized plans, and will learn how to gauge the level of personal learning that takes place in high schools.
