When "Less Is More," Do We Still Need the Drama Class? You Bet We Do!
Facilitator(s): Andrew Rabiroff

Workshop   +   Classroom Practice: curriculum & instruction   +   Everyone
In this intensive and creative session, participants will be introduced to a meaningful and powerful method to bring curriculum alive by putting students to work on real tasks that use their minds well; these tasks culminate in an exhibition that clearly demonstrates what they have learned. Participants will learn the steps of guiding students through the playwriting process. More importantly, we will explore and discover the potential for covering a broad range of curricula in a student-driven, authentic, creative, and expressive way--scriptwriting and drama.
Date/Time: Saturday, 1:30pm - 3:30pm   Room: CC 210   Session #106
