Humanizing Technology: Appropriate Strategies for Using the Silent Partner
Facilitator(s): Judi DiSabato, Carol Butler, Allison Bogdan

Workshop   +   School Design: teacher collaboration & learning   +   High School
What does it take for a teaming experience to be successful? What is the most efficient way of planning a collaborative project? Three teachers who have a variety of experience in teaming methods explore how technology makes the perfect partner in such collaborations. An art teacher, social studies teacher, and English teacher will first show video samples of their teaming projects. Through the teaching tool of "imovie" and the metaphor of storyboarding, the teachers will then demonstrate how to create a successful teaming project. Participants will follow a protocol and use storyboarding elements to create a plan for a teaming experience that will work at their schools.
