Workshop   +   School Design: structures   +   High School
This session offers structural and practical guidance for establishing a highly personalized academic program in ninth and tenth grades. Using Seattle's Nathan Hale High School's ninth and tenth grade integrated studies programs as models, this workshop covers the challenge of inclusion and programs that support a diverse population. Teachers and students will demonstrate through experience, data, and student exhibitions that the pursuit of equity does not mean a sacrifice of excellence. Participants will have an opportunity to receive practical advice to help their own reform efforts.
