So You're Small...So What?
Facilitator(s): Mimi Neamen

Workshop   +   School Design: structures   +   High School
East Mountain High School is a new charter school currently enrolling 215 students in ninth and tenth grade. We will eventually serve no more than 400 students. So we're small...so what? How do we take advantage of the opportunities present within the small school/class to help all students be successful? Participants in this workshop will be invited to challenge assumptions about the connection between size and achievement while exploring how school and class size can encourage teachers to go beyond the "norm" in teaching and learning.
Date/Time: Friday, 10:30am - 12:30pm   Room: CC 209   Session #177
