How Music Fits into the Ten Common Principles

During this roundtable discussion, participants will take a close look at the Ten Common Principles and explore ways that the traditional secondary music classroom can address them. Music teachers often see school reform as going to the "dark side," and administrators often overlook music as an essential subject. This need not be the case! During this discussion, ideas and stratagies on how to incorporate each of the ten Common Principles into the music classroom will be brainstormed and explored.
