Building Competencies through Real-World Problem-Solving: Assuring the Learning in Problem-Based Learning
Facilitator(s): Rick Gordon

Workshop   +   Classroom Practice: curriculum & instruction   +   Everyone
We do not have to choose between high standards and meaningful learning for our students. In fact, the way to help students fulfill high expectations is through powerful classroom learning experiences. Come learn how to balance learning standards and effective teaching through authentic, standards-driven problem-solving. We will work together to identify the elements of powerful learning experiences, and learn practical classroom strategies to make real-world problem-solving work in classrooms in order to secure real-world learning success for our students.
Date/Time: Saturday, 1:30pm - 3:30pm   Room: CC 204   Session #199
