| Workshop + Leadership: change process + Everyone |
| Being in the community is not the same as being part of the community. Being in the community points only to being in the physical presence; being part of the community means having the opportunity to interact and to form and have relationships with other community members. Today, this is called inclusion. In this workshop, we will explore inclusion strategies and tools for accommodation, adaptation, and modification, both in the classroom and in the school community. We will examine the areas of environment, instruction, and social integration as the context for full inclusion, and will strategize methods for participants to enable their schools to fully implement the tenth Common Principle. |
