The End-of-Year Portfolio Presentation: A New Lens for Students to Evaluate Their Learning

Workshop   +   Assessment   +   High School
Think beyond math, science or English! What did your students really learn this year? Our students demonstrate their skills across the curriculum in such competency areas as autonomous learning, pro-active citizenship, collaboration, and problem-solving. Our evaluation teams have included representatives from most of the colleges and universities in Milwaukee as well as Wisconsin's Department of Instruction. See why they have been unanimous in their praise for the process as you learn how to implement learning portfolios as part of your own educational program through interactive discussion, hands-on experience, and participation in student portfolio evaluation.
Presenters: Michael Endress, Pamela Lucas, Youa Chang, Suzy Lair
