It's Fun, It's Doable and It Works: Action Research is Not a Four-Letter Word

Workshop   +   Cycle of Inquiry   +   Everyone
Does the thought of yet another research project elicit nothing but four-letter expletives? It need not! This interactive session will provide participants with a clear understanding of the process of action research. Presenters will share examples of classroom and school-wide action research projects and discuss the inherent benefits and challenges. Participants will be given the opportunity to interact with peers as they become familiar with an action research framework. Time will be provided for everyone to create their own research question and map out a plan to conduct an action research project at their own school. Number of participants limited to 30.
Presenters: Jill Pomi, Deb Rosselli, Stephen Smachetti
Date: Friday 4:00pm -  6:00pm   Room: Conv Ctr 552A   Event #141
