Top Ten Ways CFGs Can Improve a School |

| Researchers have found that relationships within a school building truly impact the quality of education. Critical Friends Groups have been established at many schools to assist teachers in breaking down the barriers within schools. Do these groups really help improve the quality of education? What happens to these groups over the years as people come and go? Can the change process really be sustained? This workshop will address these topics as facilitators and participants discuss and probe these very tough issues. We will share examples of how the work of Critical Friends Groups can truly impact practice within schools, and how that work can be sustained. Participants will receive a "toolbox" of activities, ideas and articles to assist them in "breaking down" the barriers within their own school. |
