Envisioning Your School and Community: Using Pinhole Photography in the Core Curriculum
|
| Workshop + Curriculum & Instruction + Everyone |
| In this hands-on workshop, participants and presenters will investigate the use of pinhole photography to help students and teachers explore the influences of architectural space on learning and teaching.
Participants will learn to build pinhole cameras from found materials and how to use them to take and process black and white photographs. They will also learn about the large CES high school where the construction and use of pinhole cameras has been integrated into a ninth grade core curriculum. Particpants will leave with instructions for constructing pinhole cameras and processing photographs, as well as with a model for implementing such a curriculum in their own schools. |
