Microdemocracy for All: A New Vision for Inclusive, DemocraticPractices to Improve Student Achievement
|
| Workshop + Community Connections + Everyone |
| The Right Question Project has been featured in Horace as an effective educational strategy that cuts across different Coalition principles. The Project offers strong conceptual and practical approaches to increasing equity, democratic practice and inquiry-based learning. In large and small group activities, our vision of microdemocracy will serve as a framework for participants to examine decisions that affect student achievement. We will consider how those decisions are made, who is included and who is not, and what the criteria are for making these decisions. Participants will also generate new ideas for engaging a broader constituency to increase student achievement.
