If You Always Do What You Always Do, You'll Always Get What You Always Get: Thinking "Outside the Box" About Our Practices

Roundtable   +   Cycle of Inquiry   +   Everyone
How can we break out of the mold as teachers and as a school community? How can teachers who have succeeded in more traditional systems and structures begin to change our practices? How do we begin to think "outside the box"? We will share from our school experiences and discuss what works and what does not. We will envision how we as educators, parents, and students can build on our successes and let go of some of our past practices to create a truly effective learning community. We will also think about how educators committed to a process of change can challenge and support our colleagues in our journey together.
