NATIONAL ASSEMBLY Working Group: Advocating for the Power of CES Principles

NA Wrkg Grp   +   Everyone
CES National is launching a new approach to advocacy, based on these two ideas:

-The wider educational community and the public as a whole have the potential to be vital partners in our efforts to reform schools.

-To serve as vital partners in our efforts to reform schools, the wider educational community and the public need information about the ideas represented by CES and how they work in practical ways.

In this working group, participants will strategize ways of sharing the successes of CES schools with the wider public. We will also begin to develop plans to ensure that members of the CES Network are regularly heard in the national media, explaining and advocating for CES Principles. We invite all members of the CES Network to help CES National as we continue to provide the educational community and the public with what CES has been known for -- an intelligent, practical voice about how to make schools work for all children.

CES National Assembly working groups -- focused on the development of key projects at CES National -- are designed to draw upon the wisdom and experience of Fall Forum participants. We invite all those affiliated with the CES Network to roll up their sleeves and join us for a couple of hours of reviewing, brainstorming, and tuning, as CES National staff members share work-in-progress and participants share their experiences.
