Albion High School exists to serve all community students. Education is a lifetime pursuit and the shared responsibility of the individual, the home, the school and the community. Since education is a field in which ideas and student needs are constantly changing, a primary concern is the continual growth of each student as well as the growth of each staff memeer. Recognizing that each person has unique needs, a variety of experiences must be provided to reduce limitations and to develop potential. Ultimately, Albion High School strives to teach each student 1) the knowledge to become an appreciative and contributing citizen of the world, and 2) the skills necessary to improve his/her life in our complex society.
The school administration, teachers, parents and students will cooperate to provide a climate in the school which promotes learning.
The administration and teachers will design a curriculum to develop competency in various subject areas and provide opportunity for the mastery of higher level thinking skills.
The curriculum will stress the importance of a helathy self-concept, a respect for individual and cultural differnces in others, and effectionve interpersonal relationships.
