Description: 5th Annual Boston Arts Academy Summer Institute for Arts in Education
The 2008 Boston Arts Academy’s Summer Institute for Arts in Education is a 4-day intensive professional development experience for educators interested in school change. Hosted by Boston Arts Academy, a pilot school in the Boston Public School system, this institute will bring groups of educators together from Boston Public Schools, as well as districts and schools across the state, country and world to share practices and learn from the successes and challenges that BAA has experienced since opening ten years ago. BAA faculty and other community partners will present workshops and facilitate discussions on using the arts as a modality for school change. The Institute allows educators from schools of all kinds to learn how to use the arts to enhance curricula and to boost student achievement.
Dates: June 30th- July 3rd, 2008
Cost: Early Registration $850; Regular Registration $900 (10% discount for CES affiliates)
