Planning Backwards: How do we design assessment & curriculum that is authentic AND accountable to state standards?

Description:
After exploring how programs that allow for teacher expertise can be more equitable, participants will use the planning backwards process to create departmental and course outcomes from their schools’ mission and vision, design an authentic assessment and identify key curriculum related to their outcomes while considering state and national standards. This one-day workshop is a great way for curriculum design teams to begin or revitalize their collaboration effort. $175 ($126.00 with all discounts)
