Description: This workshop will provide curriculum examples to demonstrate why authentic assessments more equitably support students to reflect on and publicly defend their own learning and progress towards rigorous outcomes. Participants will see portfolios and observe a senior exhibition centered on an essential question before taking time to design a plan to develop their own authentic assessments that align with their schools’ mission and vision.
