New Mission High School (NMHS) seeks to empower students to become self-directed, life-long learners by providing them with a creative, challenging, and rigorous education in a small, supportive, personalized learning community. NMHS defines self-directed, life-long learners as people who possess the self-esteem, initiative, skills, habits, knowledge, passion, and wisdom necessary to live enriched and empowered lives. Life-long learners continue to grow, individually and collectively, inspired by their personal quest for knowledge, meaning, and understanding of themselves, their community, and the world around them.
