Personalized, and I mean personalized, ie every student has their own learning plan, same advisory/advisor for all four years, their own internships based on their interests/passions from 9th grade on. No content area classes per se, no tests, assessment by exhibition based on each individual learning plan. Primary learning mode is projects at internship sites - alongside professionals, being judged by professional standards. It's real work in the real world, one kid at a time, advisory based, internship based. Heavy family involvement and emphasis on school culture - small (120 students), with Town Meetings, student-based discipline committee, etc etc etc. Neat, huh?
