Liliana Vargas

Liliana has been involved with International High Schools since 1996. She began her career as a Social Studies teacher at the International High School at LaGuardia Community College in Queens. Subsequent positions included UFT union representative, guidance counselor and Chair of the Board of Trustees. As Director of California School Development, Liliana is working with Internationals to open its first California school, Oakland International High School, in 2007 and a subsequent school in 2008.
