Loran Simon
Loran Simon is a native of San Francisco, California. He was educated in the best of San Francisco’s schools, including; Longfellow School, Cathedral School for Boys, and Leadership High School. Loran will graduate on May 26, 2007 from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Arts, with a major in Political Science and a minor in International Relations. Upon graduation he will enroll in a law school program in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is on the Dean’s List and is Vice President of Pi Sigma Alpha (Delta Delta Chapter), the National Political Science Honor Society, and a member of the Political Science Students Association. In 2003 Loran was selected by Warner Bros. Television as an actor, producing, writing and acting in public service commercials addressing the needs of youth and young adults in Northern California. Loran is the founder and chairman of The California Foundation, an organization dedicated to making education better and accessible to all Californians. Loran is also on the Board of Directors for Leadership High School, a member of the Community Advisory Panel for the Board of Directors of KQED (PBS), an intern with the City and County of San Francisco, and an extern to the Superior Court of California.
