CES' program in community connections is guided by the idea that learning should be connected to the community and the world outside of the school.

While students may do much of their learning outside of the school walls, guided by mentors from the community, so too, should family and community members be involved in the intellectual life of the school. Community partnerships should be used to promote equitable access and outcomes.
