Amie Kim is happy to be supporting the CES movement. Prior to CES, she lived and worked at a residential meditation center for people of color. Before that, she provided respite and healing to people from ostracized populations (such as people with HIV/AIDS, sex workers, active drug users) via massage therapy, Reiki, and harm reduction counseling. Outside of work, she takes care of her little dog, organizes a community of adult Asian adoptees, and participates in Korean drum troupes. Amie's role in the office is web administration, computer maintenance, tech coordination, assisting the conference manager, and generally keeping the office running. You may send any website errors, complaints, or suggestions to her.

Amy Rodriguez Lee joined CES in the summer of 2005 to help maximize the potential of the growing organization’s many ongoing professional development and networking events. She brings experience as a high school English teacher in Delaware, an EFL teacher and school branch manager in Japan and Spain, and a substitute teacher in the Alameda Unified School District, CA. Her work as a project manager and continuing education trainer in corporations and non profits prompted her to earn a professional certification in meeting management. Since then she has organized and managed meetings and networking events for such organizations as the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce and Kaiser Permanente. Amy is a graduate of Wake Forest University and has completed work toward an M.A. in Intercultural Management at the School for International Training.

Carol Anna Lind joined CES National in February, 2002, and serves as the staff accountant and office administrator. She has worked as an office manager and full-charge bookkeeper for over 25 years, mainly in the consulting and legal fields. Carol Anna grew up in Northern Minnesota and attended a small rural school which she says was an Essential school before there was a CES. She has a life-long commitment to learning as a mentor and tutor for many years, currently with Back On Track in San Francisco. Presently working on her second as-yet-unpublished murder mystery, she hopes in her retirement to be able to devote more time to her writing.
